Get Rid Of The Clutter In Your Kitchen
0Having a clutter free kitchen can make your cooking experience much more pleasant. Since the kitchen is the heart of the home, a kitchen that is organized and tidy can be an inviting space which sets the tone for the rest of the home. If you have been trying to get clutter-free in your kitchen, here are a few tips to help you get organized.
If you have ever let a mess grow on top of your refrigerator, you probably know how this can make your entire kitchen look disheveled. So get rid of the mess that’s on top of your refrigerator! Give the cereal boxes a new home, stored neatly in a cabinet.
Get creative with the glass display in your kitchen. Some kitchen cabinets have a section that includes a glass panel. You can use this cabinet to showcase your special china. Set up cute displays to enjoy looking at, which will also give your kitchen a homey feel. If space is limited, use the top shelves for decorative setups while the bottom shelf can be used for everyday items for easy access.
Below the counter top is where you will probably have the most storage space in the kitchen. This can be a great place for your pots and pans. Group everything according to shape. Square cake pans can be stored with other square cooking items. This is a method that can help you save on space.
You can apply the same method to your circular pans. Put together every cake pan with like-shaped pans. You can even get more space out of your cabinets if you place the smaller pans inside the bigger ones.
When it comes to kitchen counters, most people either like to have their kitchen counters completely clear or completely crowded. The best policy on counters is to find the middle ground. If you use your countertop microwave frequently, why would you put it away? The same goes for a coffee machine or toaster.
If you find that you have a number of appliances that you use frequently, consider grouping them on the counter. The appliances that are used for breakfast can go together. Other dinner appliances can be group in another area. Remember to try and keep the appliances at a minimum on the counter. Your kitchen counter is often your work station and needs to be cleaned frequently. Too much of a clutter will just make this process harder.
If you want to cook more efficiently, organize your kitchen drawers and cabinets in accordance to your preparation and cooking methods. Try to keep a utensil jar handy. Keep the spices near your prep station. These little tips can go a long way when preparing a meal.
