Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (previously marketed as simply Modern Warfare 2) is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

Officially announced on February 11, 2009, the game is due for worldwide release on November 10, 2009. It is the sixth installment of the Call of Duty series, and the direct sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, continuing along the same storyline.

Can't open LNK or EXE Files

There are several factor which caused this.

  1. Virus infection
  2. Some software changed your settings
  3. You accidentally changed without noticing it

If when you double click on EXE and LNK files, nothing happened then this fix is what you’ve been looking for. Or, when you right click on those files, you can’t find Open or something similar.

To fix this, it is easy. Just follow the steps.

  1. Open notepad. Copy everything below and paste it inside.
